For this small custom-built hut, we drew our inspiration from the local architecture typical of its environment in Switzerland. It features a solid oak roof and horizontal siding in naturally aged spruce.
Careful selection of the quality woods for this hut was essential. Particular attention was paid to details, particularly in the cut-outs for the railings and the oak leaf-inspired links. Slight details, such as mullions on the woodwork and small window boxes, allow the volume to be read and the hut to be appreciated as a miniature mountain chalet. What’s more, a metal slide on one side allows children to make the space around the hut their own.
Inside the hut, an opening leads to a bridge linked to a small lookout in the heart of a tree, offering this charming hut where oak illustrates itself by joining the Swiss chalet to children’s games.
